Rams find buyer
The owners of the St. Louis Rams have found a group to purchase a majority of the franchise months after putting the team on the market.
The owners have agreed to sell 60 percent of the franchise to Sahid Khan, a Rams fan who is the president of Flex-N-Gate Corporation.
The Rams franchise has an estimated value of $929 million according to Forbes Magazine, but will likely be sold for much less than that.
It is rumored that the sales price will end up around $750 million, which is an ominous sign for both the franchise and for the league.
The fact that the Rams will be sold for much less than their true value is just one of the reasons why a lockout could hit the NFL in 2011.
