Rams fall to Texans, 16-13
The St. Louis Rams once again put up a strong fight but still fell short in a 16-13 loss to the Houston Texans.
Give the St. Louis defense a lot of credit for bottling up an explosive Houston offense that has put a lot points up on the scoreboard on a lot of different teams this season.
The Rams defense did give up 367 yards passing to quarterback Matt Schaub, but they shut down the Houston running attack and did a good job of holding strong inside their red zone.
Ken Null got the start at quarterback for the Rams, who were tired of seeing Marc Bulger and Kyle Boller back there turning the ball over and getting hit play after play.
Null did a respectable job, throwing for under 200 yards and throwing a touchdown and an interception. Running back Steven Jackson had 82 yards on the ground.
