Rams cut Incognito
The St. Louis Rams have cut offensive lineman Richie Incognito after a number of dirty plays on the field have resulted in costly penalties and backlash against the team.
Incognito is widely regarded around the league as one of its dirtiest players, but that honor may have gained even more steam after his action in last week’s contest.
The lineman was given two unnecessary roughness penalties for headbutting opponents and the NFL office has fined him $50,000 for those actions.
He admits that he is not well-liked around the league and said that his reputation is probably pretty fair. It seems that the guy just doesn’t care if people like him or not.
Incognito wasn’t out of work for long, as he is a quality lineman. The Buffalo Bills quickly picked up Incognito, as the team is in desperate need of some help along the line.
