Rams fall to Colts, 42-6

The St. Louis Rams were never even in the game in a 42-6 blowout loss at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts.

There were very few positives to come from a game where the Rams couldn’t score and couldn’t keep the Colts out of the end zone.

They did hold quarterback Peyton Manning under 300 yards passing, which makes them the first team to accomplish that this year.

Running back Steven Jackson had over 130 yards rushing, but the team still failed to get into the end zone.

There is hope on the horizon for the Rams, who get to play the Detroit Lions next week.

Rams fall to Jaguars, 23-20

The St. Louis Rams gave it a legitimate shot but fell short of their first win of the year in a 23-20 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Rams arguably their best game of the season, and it surprisingly came in a tough road environment.

Marc Bulger looked much better at quarterback than he had all season and was able to move the Rams up and down the field.

The two teams exchanged leads several times throughout the game, but the Rams were able to tie it with a late field goal.

In overtime, the St. Louis defense could not stop the Jaguars, and it cost them their first victory of the season.

Rams crushed by Vikings, 38-10

The St. Louis Rams put up very little fight in front of their home crowd in a 38-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Starting for the second straight week at quarterback, it was not one of Kyle Boller’s better days under center.

The quarterback turned the ball over a couple of times, looking like the frazzled, overmatched signal caller we all remember back from his days in Baltimore.

The team eventually replaced him with Marc Bulger, who actually didn’t play that badly in the second half.

It has to be frustrating for head coach Steve Spagnuolo to watch his defense get beat like a drum week in and week out.

Rams shut out by 49ers, 35-0

Instead of seeing slow improvement from the St. Louis Rams, it seems like things are only getting worse.

The Rams offensive problems continued on the road Sunday with a 35-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Quarterback Kyle Boller made the start for the injured Marc Bulger and started to look more like the stumbling, uncoordinated pocket passer we all grew to love.

The Rams gave up a special teams and defensive touchdown to the 49ers and never even threatened to get into the end zone.

St. Louis is now the proud owner of the longest current losing streak in the NFL.
