Rams looking to protect quarterback
The St. Louis Rams are sitting in great position in this year’s NFL Draft, as they hold the No. 2 overall pick.
The Rams have made it a priority to beef up their suspect offensive line, which has only gotten worse with the defection of veteran Orlando Pace to the Chicago Bears.
Jason Smith and Eugene Monroe figure to be the two players most coveted by the Rams, although some still believe that linebacker Aaron Curry could still be in the mix.
The team seems to be favoring Smith to anchor their future offensive line, and the Rams don’t seem to have any interest in possibly trading down and acquiring more picks.
St. Louis has had major problems keeping their quarterback upright in the past couple of years and feel a revamped offensive line would do wonders for their record.
